I bought this unit for a thirty day trip to Europe. At first we had made some user errors and it wasn't dropping to the temperature it needed to go to. Unlike most companies these days, this one had a phone number. I called it, and there were no menus, no AI, but an actual person who answered the phone. I described our problem and she was very reassuring that it would be resolved well before our trip. She asked for me to please send a short video of the unit running and the digital readout on it. I had sent the video immediately in an email describing the problem.I received 3 emails in response assuring me that they were looking into the problem. Apparently the problem was the user (us). We had to put the second canister inside and didn't catch this when reading the instructions. It runs perfectly.One concern I had was that we are going on an overnight flight and I was worried that the fan in it would keep people awake at night. OMG! This fan is so quiet that you must almost have to put your ear right next to it to hear it. It's a very well built and sturdy unit with quality materials. I'm so impressed. But mostly I'm impressed with this company who stands by their product and was willing to send me a new unit immediately if it were malfunctioning. They were kind, responsive and I was able to fix the problem immediately. The only thing malfunctioning was us. Not the unit. I highly recommend this company! Great people to do business with.

Here's the thing, if you want it for a countertop fridge for your meds or if you're working remotely without access to a dedicated refrigerator like I am its great and a handy tool to have.But to travel using its refrigerator cooler and the added power bank its claims great numbers of temp cooling. But in reality its terrible. I had it charged to the max and set at a reasonable 45°. It claims 4-6 hours depending on what level you have it on. I had it set on the lowest level and after a 45 minute ride to the airport the battery was near dead. So I had to recharge with a my other battery pack. Throughout my flights I had to plug it into the plane or in a socket on layovers. It holds temp fairly well and is pretty insulated but will not hold a charge. Im not sure where they got their numbers but they're way off. Ill probably have to switch to the biogel in the future.Just be warned, it may be 270 dollars but its not worth that to me.

Did the job. Purchase for family trip. Past TSA inspection and saved my medicine when house we were staying at had power outage with battery backup pack. Taking on family trip again this time driving 600 miles there and home.

First time using it this weekend. Had to travel in the car for 4 hours. I use the electric mini fridge during the car ride. My meds need to be between 36-46F and this was perfect. Very happy I got this option. Will come back and review the biogel option when I use it. Very easy to use. I cooled the flask to the right temp before I place the meds inside. Worked great, stayed at the right temperature the whole trip, great size - not too big. Worth the extra money for the piece of mind it brings. Easy to carry with the portable bag included.

I used it for 4 hours in the car via cigarette lighter plug. Then for 19 hours in the hotel room via the supplied USB power adapter. Next day I was on the road again and the device was plugged to the car's cigarette lighter plug. After 3 hours of drive 20 Amp fuse of my BMW was blown. I found an auto electrician and had it replaced with a 25 Amp fuse. That also was blown 1/2 hours later. My 8 insulin pens were no more usable by the time I got to my destination. I have no idea what was wrong with the Cooler.

This insulin cooler travel case has really come in handy when we have gone on vacation. The quality of the case is great. It is well made and feels very durable. I ordered the magenta color and it is a very bright and pretty shade. The unit itself measures about 13 inches tall by 3 inches wide. It can hold a variety of sized items in the tube and then it has a separate container on the side that can hold additional items. I do wish the separate container could be cooled too. Also, I wish that the motor was a little quieter. You can hear it running when everything is quiet. The case is small enough to throw in a bag or suitcase so it is very portable. I appreciate the design of the case. The digital temperature display lets you know the exact temperature at all times. The top has a handle so it can be carried easily too. Since this is powered by a USB charger, it is so easy to operate. I never have to worry about the unit not working because I fully charge it before we go anywhere. It did take about an hour to get it fully charged. The unit is also TSA approved. On our last trip, we had no problem getting this through with our luggage at the airport. We have been using it now for a few months and we have not encountered any issues.

Works as advertised and the digital display is very useful. Quiet operation

I like how little power this draws. My work does not allow personal refrigeration units because if everyone has one the circuits will flip and they don't want to pick and choose who can use one. However because this is powered by a USB charger that draws around as much as a cell phone, they had no problem with me using it.The seller was very fast to respond to a question and offered to ask their engineers the question. I am very impressed with this company and would give them my business. I upped my stars to 5 after they responded so quickly and were very helpful.The are two drawbacks with the design with this version.The first drawback is the battery and top-mounted refrigeration unit makes the center of gravity too high and that can cause the unit to flip over and fall out of the carrying case if you are not careful. If I were to buy another unit I would get a different one 4ALLFAMILY has where the battery is just connected with a cable so it could rest in the side pouch in the carrying case thus lowering the overall center of gravity. However once I knew about this, I have never had it flip over since because I pay attention to how I carry it.The second drawback is the release buttons on the top of the unit are stiff and brittle and the latches holding the battery can break (one of the two latches broke on mine the first day) when I was trying to press them both to pull out the battery. I am sure if I knew to be careful I never would have broken mine because they are not brittle enough to break if someone knows what they were doing uses them.
